During the third year of study students may choose from a variety of subjects. Options include:
- Part II Biological and Biomedical Sciences in Natural Sciences; subjects range from Pathology to the History and Ethics of Medicine.
For part II BBS you are required to take a major and a minor subject. Assessment is in the form of a dissertation as well as a written examination
- A single subject from Part II Natural Sciences
For single subject Natural Sciences you usually have to carry out a one or two term research project as well as take a written examination. Entry into the course may be dependent on performance in Part I if the course is competitive.
- Other less science related options are available, for example, Management Studies or Philosophy.
Before you decide on your Part II choices, we hope to hold an informal evening so that Part IB students can talk to Part II students about their courses.
